In this position, Opron will oversee the day-to-day group sales operations of The Resort at Callaway, which includes more than 96,000 square feet of meeting space and three distinct types of accommodations totaling more than 800 rooms. A sales staff of eight report directly to him.

Im confident that groups will love this new conference center nestled in the woodlands of Callaway. With the unique offerings of The Gardens at Callaway, meeting planners can give their group a meeting experience that is both productive and memorable.
Opron added, New venues for meetings are popping up all across the country. While satisfying in their own way, none can match the natural beauty, serenity and tranquility found at Callaway.
Opron was with Opryland Hotel for the past 14 years in the conference services and sales departments. In sales, he served as both manager and director.
Erics experience in the corporate meeting market will be a tremendous asset as Callaway expands our presence in that area, said Roger Childers, Callaways vice president of sales.
Opron and his wife, Julie, and three children, Amanda, Hannah and Matthew, will reside in Pine Mountain.
