The new workshop, Team Delivery Techniques," is specifically designed to help small teams work through the flow, content and team delivery of a specific presentation for numerous public situations including financial and industry analyst presentations, venture capital presentations, press briefings, trade show and conference presentations, and other public discussions.

According to Bernhardt, the emphasis of this workshop is not on generic or text book public speaking techniques, but rather a hybrid model that takes into account the speaking style and experience of each individual, and the environment in which they will make their team presentations. Elements of the Team Delivery Techniques workshop include keeping the presentation on track, handing off to other team members, handling questions and open discussions, and overall functioning as a coordinated team.
The workshop will initially be conducted by Mike Bernhardt, a 30-year marketing veteran who has personally trained more than 500 business executives in all aspects of public speaking and public appearance skills. The Team Delivery Techniques workshop is ideal for companies looking to:

The workshop is designed to be delivered over three different sessions, and includes the following modules:
Module 1: Preparation [4-6 hours] Instructor meets with the team; discusses the roles of each team member; runs through basic drills to determine the skill level of each participant; provides initial coaching and exercises, and leads the team through a review of the presentation content and flow.
Module 2: Rehearse and refine. [1 day - or optionally 2 half days] This session is held approximately 2-3 weeks after module 1, and 2-3 weeks prior to the public speaking engagement. The presentation is refined as a team process with coaching from the instructor. The team will perform multiple rehearsals working with specific slides and learning techniques for handing off to other team members, incorporating demos, etc.
Module 3: Final rehearsal.    [4 hours ] Ideally, this session is held 1-2 days prior to the public speaking engagement or the beginning of a tour. This is the equivalent of a dress rehearsal with full use of visuals and demos.
