DAVID LYNCH AGREES WITH THE VATICAN

What do David Lynch and the Vatican have in common?

A "great project," director David Lynch exclaims. Praising Hilde Productions and Seasons & a Muse, Inc. for developing the feature film "BREATH OF GOD: The True Story of Hildegard von Bingen," both Lynch and the Vatican express admiration for the project. Spearheaded by award-winning artist, screenwriter, actor and producer Jeanne Marie Spicuzza, the film portrays the life and times of a woman who was an artist, visionary and composer.

Although Lynch is not slated to direct the film, members of his inner circle have signed on. The screenplay, drafted by Ms. Spicuzza, garnered accolades from the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, Creative Artists Agency and the Vatican Division of Arts and Culture.

BREATH OF GOD is the story of Hildegard von Bingen, a medieval mystic both admired and reviled for her extraordinary courage and otherworldly talents. A St. Bernadette in Camelot tale reveals Hildegards struggles as she advises royalty and, ultimately, shares a love so passionate it could never be consummated.

In a timeless and inspirational account, the film depicts an irresistible spirit overcoming physical and cultural barriers. Hildegards music, described as a perfect balance between religious ecstasy and seductive vocalism, will accompany a haunting and rapturous soundtrack.
