The Visionael network inventory, configuration and change management solution supports the planning, design, building, provisioning and operation of complex, geographically distributed communications networks. This powerful solution allows service provider and enterprise customers to capture complete knowledge of their physical network and the circuits that overlay it, resulting in better network control and an enhanced capacity for growth. With more than 30 locations worldwide, Verestar will use Visionael to create a centralized repository of data on its key network elements to support the diverse requirements of its customers.

Visionael will bring increased efficiency to network operations by replacing islands of inventory and configuration data that cannot be shared across the organization. Verestar expects that the centralized repository of inventory and configuration data will quickly lead to improved customer service as faults are more easily correlated to customer data and the provisioning process becomes faster.

Verestar will also be an early adopter of Visionael's new industry-leading Spares Management capability, which allows spare network inventory to be deployed to and retired from the production network while maintaining a full history on the equipment.
