HOW MUCH DO YOU LEARN IN 60 YEARS OF LIVING? THIS BOOK WILL BE A "MUST" READ FOR EVERYONE

This press release is regarding a Book release

Orlando, February 9, 2001: Janet Ritchie has been working on a book that those around her believed she should write. The book would take her 60 years of life's experiences and translate them to a poetic tribute to those who found themselves in similar situations. Each chapter of the book begins with a selection of her poetry, followed by her own account of what experience in her life inspired that particular piece. The book, "Everyone Should Write A Book," is a cornucopia of human emotion and an outline of the human condition of our day today lives. Anyone who has read it found something in the book that directly related to their own life, joys and sorrows," said Ritchie.

The book is currently under review by several national publishers and Janet has already received contract offers to publish it. Once a contract is finalized, Ritchie will embark on a promotion campaign to sell the book and tell her story via radio, TV and the press. Ritchie is represented by Edward J. Stankay, Marketing Consultants, Orlando, Florida.

In an interview Ritchie stated "Like for many of us today life is not easy. I just lost my company. I am now trying to start all over again. Being an old lady of sixty doesn't help. In a way I feel God is sending me a message. For years people have told me to concentrate on my writing because it has touched so many people. I posted a few poems on a web site called goodtimes2.com and got 70,000 hits and over 2000 e-mails from people thanking me and telling me how much my writing touched them. One of my poems "My Angel" I wrote for my sister has been posted in many places through these readers. One even asked if she could place it on her sons grave. I visited one web site where there was a story about a small child that had died from massive abuse and I cried. Below the story was my poem." I answer every letter I receive. If they take the time to write I want to let them know how much I appreciate it and how good it makes me feel."

Ritchies pen name is JR Gods Typist. Three days before her sister died she gave her this name. "She was my best friend and when I lost her part of me went with her. I helped raise her. Three days before she left me she told me that since I always say I don't write it God does why don't I call myself Gods Typist. I have been using that pen name since. This makes me feel part of her is still with me"

"My Angel" was recorded on a post-September 11th musical CD entitled Let There Be Love" consisting of approximately a dozen original musical pieces performed by youth talent. The CD also features a title track by Steph Carse, Canadian Platinum recording artist, who donated his effort to the project. The group appeared at Universal City Walk and Church St. Market among many other events.

All her life Ritchie has fostered the need to help abused children but always lacked the resources to do something meaningful. The sale of this book will allow me to help in a very real way", said Ritchie, who made the commitment to donate a portion of any book sales to youth organizations-

It is my wish to help youth. In this case, I am so grateful to be able to help one child at a time through my efforts." It is my dream come true," Ritchie said. She has designed a line of Plaques and Greeting Cards that will be available in July 2002.
