Bridgewater Systems Names Clark Cochran
Vice President of Sales
Bridgewater Systems, a provider of access control and monetization solutions, today announced that Clark Cochran has been named the companys vice president of sales.
KANATA, Ontario, June 5, 2002 - Bridgewater Systems, a provider of access control and monetization solutions, today announced that Clark Cochran has been named the companys vice president of sales.
Cochran has 20 years of sales and management experience with data and voice networking equipment and software companies. Much of this experience has been aimed at worldwide service providers, Bridgewaters primary market.

Clark has demonstrated his consistent, proven ability in building top-tier sales organizations and exceeding sales goals in the service provider market. His extensive direct sales and channel experience will complement the strong channel relationships that Bridgewater has developed with partners like Ericsson. We are fortunate to have Clark join our management team."
Cochran will be responsible for Bridgewaters worldwide sales strategy and execution. As a member of the senior management team he will also play a key role in defining Bridgewaters market and product strategy.

Prior to joining Bridgewater, Cochran was vice president of Americas Sales for Nortel Networks (Alteon WebSystems, Inc.) and then vice president of Global Sales at Vivace, Inc. He also served over eight years at Network Equipment Technologies, Inc. (N.E.T.), where he was the director of carrier sales. Before N.E.T., Cochran was a member of the executive management team at Sigma International, Inc. In his role as vice president of sales, he successfully redefined Sigmas sales strategy and target markets. Cochran also held key director positions at ICC (later acquired by MFS/Worldcom), Telelogic, Inc. and Bell Atlantic.
Cochran holds a masters degree in business administration from The College of William & Mary, Williamsburg, VA and bachelors degree in business administration from Roanoke College, Salem, VA.
