Now Available, Toshibas Value Plus Extended Warranty Provides Coverage for Strata CTX670 and CTX100, DKT3000 Series Telephones, and Stratagy IVP8

IRVINE, Calif., June 5, 2002 -- Toshiba America Information Systems, Inc., Telecommunication Systems Division (Toshiba TSD) today announced that it is offering the industrys first and only manufacturer direct warranty extension plan providing up to seven years of coverage. Toshibas Value Plus Extended Warranty" is now available for Toshibas family of Strata CTX business communication systems, DKT3000 series of telephones, and the Stratagy IVP8 voice messaging system.

With the launch of the Value Plus Extended Warranty, we are pairing Toshibas unparalleled reputation for product quality, reliability, and durability with the industrys first warranty extension plan providing up to seven years of coverage," said Michael E. Toshibas Value Plus Extended Warranty is available only from Authorized Toshiba Dealers and is an optional add-on warranty extension to Toshibas standard 2-year warranty. Two plans are offered, giving Toshiba users a choice of extending their product warranties to a duration of seven years (84 months) or five years plus one month (61 months). The Value Plus Extended Warranty gives Toshiba users added peace-of-mind that their business communications system is covered with the longest warranty available in the industry.
