NORTHFIELD, IL, June 6 -- Advanced Project Solutions, Inc. (APS), a newly launched premier consultancy firm specializing in software project management, announced today that Elli Bennatan has joined the firm as principal and senior consultant. Mr. Bennatan is well known in the software engineering community as an accomplished author and speaker, and his most recent book, On Time Within Budget, now in its third edition, is used widely by high tech development organizations and universities worldwide, and is a popular reference guide for software project managers.

Mr. Bennatan spent many years at Motorola as senior director, developing wireless access systems and leading multi-national design centers. He led teams that developed and delivered large wireless telephony systems to Hungary, India, and China. He was also responsible for program management of Motorolas High-Availability Systems corporate-wide initiative.

Before Motorola, Mr. Bennatan spent many years developing defense and aerospace systems in the US and overseas. He led the team that architect and developed the software for Israels first satellite.
