New Salt Lake-based Xcera Consulting Focuses on E-commerce Policy

Utah attorney Benjamin T. Wilson has formed Xcera Consulting, Inc. to help companies enhance their e-business with guidance on law, policies and procedures related to e-commerce

Salt Lake City based attorney Benjamin T. Wilson has formed Xcera Consulting, Inc. to provide companies planning to enhance their e-business with guidance on e-commerce policies and procedures. Xcera will focus on requirements applicable to e-businesses, whether they interface with others in business-to-business B2B" or business-to-consumer B2C" relationships.

Xcera will also consult with service providers and consultants who help these businesses to take their commercial relationships online.
Wilson started the company to meet the demand of companies who do not have internal expertise in e-commerce policy, such as information security, transaction nonrepudiation and customer privacy. Many computer consulting companies who provide e-commerce solutions do not offer expertise in the policies, practices and procedures that create security and non-repudiation around electronic transactions," said Wilson.

Xcera will leverage the experience of Wilson and other associates to provide first class e-commerce policy consulting. According to Wilson, as businesses go online, they find the need to re-engineer their processes. Xcera can help these companies leverage the best practices for policies and procedures in the industry and 'reinvent' their business."

Businesses seeking more information about Xcera can visit the firms Web site at www.xcera.net.
