(Singapore - 6 June 2002) OneEmpower announced its Distributed Customer Relationship ManagementTM (d-CRMTM) solution, a world-first invention by OneEmpower, using the power of smart card technology, to move CRM to the next evolution. d-CRMTM enables businesses to exploit every customer encounter fully and legitimately at the point of interaction without compromising customer privacy.

Nick Fung, CEO of OneEmpower, explained, OneEmpower leverages the potential that smart cards and GlobalPlatform, an open technology platform, have to offer in revolutionizing the way CRM is implemented in order to eliminate customer privacy concerns, facilitate collaborative marketing between businesses and make CRM work upfront at any point-of-interaction, in both an online and offline environment. Distributed CRMTM or d-CRMTM achieves this by combining the concept of a portable Distributed FingerprintTM or d-FingerprintTM on a Visa smart card containing the customers composite profile with multiple service providers where the cardholder has control over the use of his d-FingerprintTM, and the concept of scripting which drives the interaction between the d-FingerprintTM and the point-of-interaction."

JavaCard and GlobalPlatform are chosen as the platform of choice for d-CRMTM.
