DiversityInc.com Career Center Announces Strategic Partnership with Minneapolis Star Tribune Alliance offers classified advertisers greater exposure to diverse markets

Beginning June 9, advertisers who purchase an online Employment Classified package from Star Tribune will be able to run their ads on the DiversityInc.com Career Center channel http://www.Diversityinc.com/careers for seven days, Sunday through Saturday.

Minnesota companies seeking to recruit a more diverse workforce will soon have a cost-effective online tool available. Beginning June 9, advertisers who purchase an online Employment Classified package from Star Tribune will be able to run their ads on the DiversityInc.com Career Center channel http://www.Diversityinc.com/careers for seven days, Sunday through Saturday. This marks the first time a major U.S. newspaper has partnered with a multicultural recruitment Web site to cross-post career opportunities.

The DiversityInc.com Career Center is the largest diversity-focused recruitment enterprise on the Internet, serving as many or more diverse professionals than any other recruitment site on the Web. It offers clients and candidates alike the ability to post résumés and set up electronic job and résumé screening tools. Classified advertisers will gain access to one of the highest concentrations of diverse professionals online; more than 91 percent of DiversityInc.coms readers have a four-year college degree, and more than two-thirds are women.

This is an important step in helping both employers and diverse job candidates get together. The Star Tribune has long been a supporter of diverse markets and this partnership leverages that commitment to help its customers," said Carl Braun, president of DiversityInc.com Careers.

In todays environment, organizations committed to diversity recruiting initiatives have a strategic advantage," said Jamie Flaws, assistant director of Employment Services for Star Tribune. We are happy to bring this affordable and efficient opportunity to our customers."
