How Good is Your Club Champion?

NoPutt Enterprises of Greenville, SC announces a new, competitive format championship tournament for PGA Club Professionals and their current Club Champions to begin play in 2003. After researching the subject of competition among PGA professionals, and finding a lack of competitive options for current Club Champions across the country, Joe Kerns - President of American Club Championship and former PGA Club Professional - has created a new format in Championship Tournament play. The new format partners talented, serious golfers - Club Champions - with their PGA Club Professional.

At each level, the tournament adheres to the 2002 USGA Rules of Amateur Status and amateurs will be eligible for gift certificates not to exceed $500.00 in any one event.

The Format

The American Club Championship is a unique format of tournament play starting with the most highly competitive golfers across the United States playing for their Club Championship. The winner teams with his PGA Club Professional and together they advance and compete in a two day, scratch play format at one of 41 PGA Sectional Tournaments to vie for exciting tee packages and great prizes. In the inaugural year, there will be a limited number of playing spots, open only to PGA represented clubs, with proportional representation from across the United States.

Furthering this one of a kind format, the 41 Sectional Team Champions are then invited to travel to the Championships home course for the National Finals at Mission Inn Resort in Howie-in-the-Hills, Florida for 4 nights and 3 days of the 54-hole National Championship competition. PGA Club Professionals and their spouses will be flown to Orlando with lodging and airfare provided by the Championship. These golfers compete for cash purses, automobiles, golf trips and great tee prizes, plus a distinctive trophy presented to the National Championship Team.

Two Winners; One Magnificent Championship

The American Club Championship is currently negotiating with several key Fortune 500 companies for national gold and silver levels of sponsorship. A national advertising campaign, extensive local championship support, television coverage, web promotions and a host of marketing opportunities are still available on the National and Regional levels.

Look for our ACC/Membership Card -- providing discounts in travel, golf equipment, golf vacations and other promotions that our sponsors are offering to member players at the local level.
