The American Club Championship is a unique format of tournament play starting with the most highly competitive golfers across the United States playing for their Club Championship. The winner teams with his PGA Club Professional and together they advance and compete in a two day, scratch play format at one of 41 PGA Sectional Tournaments to vie for, exciting tee packages and other great prizes. In the inaugural year, there will be a limited number of playing spots, open only to PGA represented clubs, with proportional representation from across the United States.

Furthering this one of a kind format, the 41 Sectional Team Champions are then invited to travel to the Championship's home course for the National Finals at Mission Inn Resort in Howie-in-the-Hills, Florida for 4 nights and 3 days of the 54-hole National Championship competition. PGA Club Professionals and their spouses will be flown to Orlando with lodging and airfare provided by the Championship. These golfers compete for cash purses, automobiles, golf trips and great tee prizes, plus a distinctive trophy presented to the National Championship Team.
