The first gallery of Java3D-animations is released

The first gallery of Java3D-animations is released

Stockholm, Sweden -- June 10, 2002 -- VirtualExp, the site with visual experiences and virtual reality is now available on the web. When you visit it you will start a journey through dimensions, as you visit the next dimension, the third dimension and the hyper dimensions.

The next dimension contains magic ellipses, fractals, energizers and harmonisers.
These are made with the new Java2-technology, and VirtualExp is the first site on the web to use it to make a gallery of computer animations.

The third dimension contains virtual reality- and 3D graphics demos like 3d-rides, shapeshifters
and space-journeys. Until now, demos like this had to be downloaded and unzipped before viewing.
On VirtualExp, all demos can be viewed directly in the browser, and they all load quickly.
This is possible because they are made with the new Java3d-technology. VirtualExp is the first site
with a gallery of animations made with Java3D. Java3D is unique, because it uses both of the
two industry standards OpenGL and DirectX.

VirtualExp is made by the swedish programmer Eyvind Almquist. His aim is to create all kinds of visual experiences from harmonic and relaxing ones to energetic, fast and action-packed ones.
