Texas Agricultural Experiment Station and FoodHorizon Enter New Relationship

On Monday, the Texas A&M Department of Animal Science (Texas Agricultural Experiment Station) and FoodHorizon issued a joint Memorandum of Understanding outlining a new working relationship whereby FoodHorizon will provide its flagship product, SENTRY9000, to the Rosenthal Meat Science & Technology Center, and both will collaborate on publication of findings relative to technology in the business of meat processing.

COLLEGE STATION, TX, June 10 -- On Monday, the Texas A&M Department of Animal Science (Texas Agricultural Experiment Station) and FoodHorizon issued a joint Memorandum of Understanding outlining a new working relationship whereby FoodHorizon will provide its flagship product, SENTRY9000, to the Rosenthal Meat Science & Technology Center, and both will collaborate on publication of findings relative to technology in the business of meat processing.

TAES will benefit from the added capability SENTRY9000 will add to its Meat Science Center and its research efforts as well as exposure for its faculty, staff, and students. FoodHorizon will gain significantly by having this globally recognized research center provide recurring feedback on its SENTRY9000 product as well as having the opportunity to collaborate with its members on publication of findings in the arena of meat processing technology.

The Texas A&M University Rosenthal Meat Science and Technology Center (RMSTC) is a nationally renowned center where teaching, research, and public service activities of the Department of Animal Science are conducted. As such, it is the most comprehensive facility of its kind in the US, devoted to the development of science and the application of that science to the solutions of problems in animal and meat Science.
