BROADWARE ENGAGES MOBILE INSTALLATION TECHNOLOGIES (MIT) TO STREAMLINE MULTI-SITE INSTALLATIONS OF NETWORKED DIGITAL VIDEO SYSTEMS FOR REMOTE MONITORING
U.S.-based multi-site businesses, government agencies, transportation and manufacturing firms to benefit from comprehensive, cost-effective installation and service of remote video monitoring systems
CUPERTINO, CA , June 11, 2002--BroadWare Technologies, innovators in distribution, archiving, and management of digital video over broadband networks, today announced an agreement with Mobile Installation Technologies, LLC, to perform large-scale installation of networked digital video systems for BroadWare customers throughout the United States. Under the terms of the agreement, MIT will manage fixed and wireless network installation, camera mounting, server installation, and system set-up and configuration for the BroadWare Interactive Media ServerTM, BroadWare Local Archive ServerTM, and system setup for the BroadWare Remote Video AccessTM service.
BroadWares networked digital video systems are specified by chief security officers (CSOs) and facilities executives to improve safety and security for employees and customers, protect tangible and intangible assets, increase productivity by facilitating process and workflow improvement, and reduce costs by enabling virtual visits to remote facilities.
Because MIT has the capability to roll out integrated video monitoring systems to hundreds of physical locations throughout the United States, our customers can be assured of comprehensive, cost-effective installation and service throughout their organizations multi-site locations," said Bill Stuntz, BroadWare CEO.
We believe BroadWare offers an ideal range of remote video monitoring systems for multi-site organizations to view, manage, and store video in a seamless, integrated system," stated Pete Montgomery, Senior Vice President of Business Development for MIT. Because MIT also installs vehicle-based video systems for public safety and transportation customers, we can work to further expand adoption of BroadWare systems for mobile applications."
