San Diego, CA -- June 12th, 2002 -- NETWORK HARMONi, Inc. (NHI), a developer of solutions for monitoring IT infrastructure, today announced the availability of the first of several new products based on a revolutionary new approach to monitoring the performance of popular business applications. Application Centric Monitoring (ACM) modules gather data found inside critical business applications and combines it with other system and network information to provide a holistic-view" of application performance. Beyond simple log file and response time monitoring, NHIs Application Centric Monitoring (ACM) techniques can detect business application problems before they happen.

Application Centric Monitoring provides the complete picture of business application performance" comments Craig Farrell, NHIs President and CEO. ACM goes beyond log file and response time monitoring to provide a proactive, holistic approach by linking network, system, and end-user performance metrics with data from inside these applications." At press time, NETWORK HARMONi has released ACM modules for Oracle and Microsoft SQL Database applications, Microsoft Exchange, and Apache and Microsoft IIS Web Server applications. ACMs can be purchased as standalone products or as plug-in extensions to NHIs programmable agents, RMONplus and SLAplus.
