airBridgeTM Outdoor is a 2.4 GHz 802.11b compatible client device that is based on the extremely successful airBridgeTM unit. airBridgeTM Outdoor simplifies subscriber installation with its Power over Ethernet (PoE), 'Plug and Play installation, extended temperature range and a software controlled 'dial a power capability. All of this results in lower start-up costs, reduced operating costs and provides WISPs for faster network rollouts. airBridgeTM Outdoor features exceptionally long operating distance due to its ground-breaking LongRange wireless radio design. The radios enhanced receiver sensitivity allows it to listen to the smallest incoming signals from the wireless access points. The transmitter pumps out enhanced peak power to make signals travel the distance. Longer range of the airBridgeTM Outdoor directly translates into lower wireless infrastructure costs for WISPs as they can cover a large area with a smaller number of access points.

airBridgeTM Outdoor has been FCC certified with different antenna configurations normally used by Wireless Operators. This provides a much needed flexibility to choose the right antenna with the pattern and gain characteristics to conform to local regulatory limits. For an outdoor Ethernet client device, airBridgeTM Outdoor is unbelievably compact and small in size. Housed in a NEMA 4X enclosure, it is built to perform even in harsh conditions. It delivers reliable performance in all climates, withstanding temperature extremes of --40 C to +55 C (-40 F to 131 F). The device can be installed anywhere on the building exterior or in the interior along with an external antenna.
