Groovy Lava represents a new computational method in rendering organic images involving chaos. At the heart of Groovy Lava is the chaos engine, which randomly selects a cell position in the 'lava' and applies the life form rules. It is this random selection, along with the influence of the surrounding cells, that allows Groovy Lava to simulate many natural phenomena such as auroras, turbulent water flow, and fire.
The evolution of the images created by Groovy Lava is driven by action and re-action, using the basic rules of life and death. This software allows you, the 'lava master', to set those rules, allowing it to create images of immense beauty and startling chaos. By experimenting with this software you may be the first to discover a whole new way of life!
System Requirements: Windows 95 / 98 / ME / 2000 / XP with DirectX 8.0 or higher.
