AA and NA Recovery Members can chat live at http://lordwolf.com
Lordwolf.com and Starlink-irc.org have teamed up together, meet others from around the world.
Lordwolf.com is delighted to announce that it has teamed up with the staff from the IRC chat server starlink-irc.org to bring those in recovery a new home for chat. Hosting daily meetings both in the morning and in the evenings they provide a safe harbor for those in recovery to share and learn from.
With a staff of carring and loving members who have donnated thier time and energy in service to others, they are here for you any time day or night.
They offer Family Support EVERY DAY. According to it's founder Bob, known by many as Lord Wolf, "Families need support, and we offer that here any time. Our staff and members understand what it's like to live with a person who drinks, or does drugs, and we also understand the need for friendship and love. We offer that here on a daily basis for our visitors. We also offer support for the family as well. Our members are not doctors, nor are they shrinks. We're just a bunch of drunks and addicts, so we know first hand how you feel, and we are here to help you find a new life, free from the addictions through the gifts of the 12 steps and recovery."
The Importance of Anonymity of our visitors is highly respected here in #Recovery. First, we know from experience that many might hesitate to turn to A.A. or other groups for help. This is especially true if they thought their problem might be discussed publicly, even inadvertently, by others. What's said in our room stays with in the confines of our room.
Newcomers are able to seek help with the assurance that their identities will not be disclosed to anyone outside the chat room. Many find solace in the anonymity and convenience with which IRC provides on a 24 hour basis. Often times those who suffer a potential set back will do so in the late hours of night. Long after any meetings or clubs have closed thier doors for the night. With IRC there's always someone awake and ready to listen and help those in need. None the less, we consider it important that everyone seek out a local support group, and a local sponsor to aid them in thier journey towards recovery. IRC groups can and often times aid the person in finding such a group and make it easier to walk in the door for the very first time.
Rarely have we seen a person fail who has thoroughly followed the 12 step program. Those who do not recover are people who will not or simply cannot give themselves to this simple program.
