Announcing the release of 'Life is for the Living, a new music CD by Orlando recording artist Rick Richbourg. Richbourg's compositions offer an alternative to Alternative Music".

Orlando Composer to Release New Audio CD

Jazz-Fusion composer and guitarist Rick Richbourg will release his new audio CD Friday June 21st, 2002 through MP3.com and his label; a spokesperson for DWI Records announced today.

The new CD, "Life is for the Living" contains 9 compositions featuring evocative instrumentals and passionate guitar work. An advance release of the composition '091101' spent 28 days as number 1 on the Jazz charts at SoundClick.com in October of 2001. Another Composition, "Mi Media Naranja" has been picked up for airplay on the Internet radio station 365live.

"I am tremendously excited about this new release," Richbourg said. "Like most artists, I write what I hear and lately this has been an eclectic fusing of styles spanning post Be-Bop harmonic innovations, Hip-Hop and 21st Century Rock. This alternative to Alternative Music features 'graphic harmonic content' and 'eXplicit melodic exposure'."

Richbourg is a graduate of Berklee College of Music with a degree in composition. He has extensive experience as a music educator, guitar instructor and studio musician.
