The Florida Motion Picture and Television Association (FMPTA) presents the 14th Annual Crystal Reel Awards (CRA), produced in association with Dream Launcher Studios, Inc. recognizing excellence in Film,Television, Recording and Digital Media in Florida. The awards banquet will be held Saturday, June 22,2002, at the beautiful WALT DISNEY WORLD SWAN and DOLPHIN Hotel in Lake Buena Vista, Florida. Celebrities slated to participate include actors Burt Reynolds,Andy Garcia, Kirsten Storms and more. The program will be televised at a future date. A star-studded list of celebrities is slated to attend the 14th Annual Crystal Reel Awards scheduled for June 22, 2002 at the beautiful WALT DISNEY WORLD SWAN and DOLPHIN Hotel. The event will also feature live acts and stunt shows. The Crystal Reel Awards is a celebration and recognition of excellence within the Florida Motion Picture, Television, Music and Digital Media Industry.

The CRA is hosted by the Florida Motion Picture & Television Association (FMPTA) and is produced by Dream Launcher Studios, Inc. DLS is a collaborative effort of many Florida based companies, individuals and talent to highlight Florida's resources, fight "runaway production" and act as a catalyst to strengthen the Florida entertainment industry by creating jobs and ongoing economic opportunity.

David Faustino, "Married...with Children" star, and Kirsten Storms of "Days of Our Lives" and Disney's "Zenon" movies have been selected to co-host the show because of their ties and commitment to the Florida entertainment industry. "I can't wait to be back in Florida, everyone is so nice down there," says David Faustino.

Burt Reynolds will accept a "Lifetime Achievement Award" for his many contributions to the Florida entertainment industry. Other notable attendees that have cleared their calendars to attend the event are Oscar Nominee Andy Garcia ("The Godfather Part III", "Ocean's 11"); Lee Majors ("The Six Million Dollar Man" and "The Fall Guy"); Professional Wrestler Marc Mero; Rena Mero (aka "Sable," former WWE Women's Wrestling Champion); Former U.S. Congressman Bill McCollum; Curly Neal, original member of the Harlem Globetrotters; Johnny Wright, legendary music manager for 'NSYNC and Britney Spears; Dr. Carl Bilancione of Survivor-Africa; and more.

Scorching live acts are lining up to play at the CRA. DLS is working with renowned national music managers Gillian Wright and Doug Brown to showcase upcoming talent that are predicted to create a national/international impact.
