REDMOND (PRWEB) June 20, 2002 -- May 22, 2002 -- xoteric announces a strategic partnership with Pramati Technologies, a breakthrough developer of J2EE application server technology. xoteric uses Pramati Server 3.0 and Studio 3.0 for development, deployment, and management of eidolon, xoterics enterprise-level content management system. eidolon combines content management, workflow, and collaboration in a single integrated Java-based solution. eidolon is designed for groups of people creating and publishing content across an enterprise.

Nathan Heskew, CTO of xoteric, noted: "We chose to work with the Pramati Server because it is on the forefront of supporting the newest standards. This is important to us because we will be integrating it with some of our products and dont want to be restrained by what the application server supports. We thought we'd be spending a great deal of money in order to
have this kind of support but luckily Pramati Server is very affordable. The best thing was that we didnt have to give up any features to get this affordability."

"Powered by Pramati, xoterics Content Management solution will enable users to create powerful Web-based solutions with reduced deployment costs, while improving responsiveness to their customers," said Vijay Pullur, co-founder and CTO, Pramati Technologies. Pullur added that, besides using Pramati Server as its preferred deployment platform, xoteric will utilize Pramati Studio, a J2EE 1.3 compliant Integrated Development Environment (IDE), to develop code that can run on any J2EE-compliant platform, including IBM WebSphere and BEA WebLogic Server. "With the ability to develop platform-independent code leveraging all of the advanced capabilities of J2EE v 1.3, xoteric is not locked in to any vendor's platform and can
support each customer in their platform of choice," Pullur said.
