Syd Joins Top Mp3.com Artists to Fight Animal Cruelty

Popular artists donate their music to a good cause at mp3.com.

In a display of the solidarity and determination often associated with independent artists, singer-songwriter Syd has joined other top mp3.com artists like Emily Richards, dislife, and Serena Matthews on "Performing Artists 4 Animal Rights," a compilation CD to benefit Happy Tales Humane, a no-kill animal shelter in Tennessee.

Together these artists represent the "cream of the crop" at mp3.com, the internet music service provider. Syd spoke for the artists involved saying, "We all support this cause and hope that our voices can come together to make a difference"
