8 global pharmaceutical giants will present their outsourcing practices and upcoming plans from early drug discovery through development at the "6th International Outsourcing of Pharmaceutical Chemistry & Drug Discovery. Key panels on outsourcing in India and China have been introduced with experts from around the world to address the emergence of these countries in the global pharmaceutical outsourcing industry. The meeting is also punctuated by stronger Wall Street analyst and banking perspectives covering the performance and investment climates in chemistry companies, drug discovery, and for the first time, the enabling-tool company sector.

Abbott, Roche, Pfizer, Bristol-Myers Squibb, Pharmacia, Lilly, Schering Plough, and GlaxoSmithKline are all featured on a variety outsourcing/sourcing and third-party manufacturing subjects both in chemistry, biologics, and drug discovery in general.
In 2002, besides the strongest ever pharma participation, key panels on outsourcing in India and China have been introduced with experts from around the world to address the emergence of these countries in the global pharmaceutical outsourcing industry.
The meeting is also punctuated by stronger Wall Street analyst and banking perspectives covering the performance and investment climates in chemistry companies, drug discovery, and for the first time, the enabling-tool company sector by, Deutsche Bank. Acclaimed keynote speaker Stefan Loren of Legg Mason will start off the conference on the morning of the 23rd.
