REVOLUTIONARY GOLF CART ENCLOSURE NOW AVAILABLE IN THE U.S. MARKET
LISBURN, NORTHERN IRELAND--(June 26, 2002)--Mobile Equipment Enclosures (MEE) has announced today they are bringing their patented golf cart enclosure system available to the US market (http://www.meeltd.com).
Most are familiar with the vinyl enclosures with roll up doors in general use. The MEE is different. The enclosure is manufactured with aluminium frames and rigid transparent panels forming a strong structure so it becomes part of the cart. The main feature is a large sliding door at each side providing ample access for every size of golfer. It is built to last for years and can be fitted by anyone.
The MEE makes a golf cart as comfortable as a car in all weather. Engineered to fit Club Car, E-z-go, Yamaha and ParCar Carts. It is equally beneficial for Communities, Industrial Sites as well as for golfers.
Available direct by air-freight on a sale or return basis, plans are currently being implemented for distribution by golf cart dealers in the US.
Granted US Patent No. 6,276,745--it will be featured on The Golf Channel starting July.
ANOTHER FIRST-An Air-Conditioned Golf Cart
To achieve this there are two essentials. Firstly the MEE Enclosure, to keep the cool air in and the hot air out.
Second, a very energy efficient air conditioning kit, so that the batteries are not exhausted prematurely. With a power consumption of 7A 336W 48V producing 4000 BTU of cooling, it is working most satisfactorily on test in a 100ºF heat chamber at the moment.
The only modification to the carts is to fit the enclosure and connect 2 cables to the batteries.
The air-conditioned unit will be available in limited numbers beginning in September, 2002. For more information please go to the website http://www.meeltd.com or email info@meeltd.com
