Friuli Gelato is Italian style ice cream. What differentiates gelato from other ice creams?
Gelato is distinguishable from other ice creams because of the way it is manufactured. During the manufacturing process, less air is pumped into the ice cream and because of this, less butterfat is needed to achieve the desired consistency. The lower amount of air allows the flavors to be absorbed by the cream, which results in a uniquely smooth product with intense flavor. Friuli Gelato is available in the following flavors:
