White Paper Sparks New Dialogue on Establishing Quality Sound for Retail Environments
For the first time in decades of commercial music programming and sound systems design and installation, a white paper reviews the industry's tools, techniques, and insights on how to establish and maintain quality sound via sound system performance and installation standards.
PlayNetwork Inc. today announced it has published a 12-page comprehensive white paper titled "Establishing Quality Sound in Business Environments: A Forum Report" to help retailers leverage the merchandising and competitive advantages of in-store sound systems.
The white paper outlines key findings from an educational industry forum PlayNetwork hosted on April 19 during the retail conference GlobalShop 2002 in Chicago. Emphasizing the need for standards in sound system design, installation, and ongoing performance, the white paper shows how a combination of good sound system mechanics can combine with the powerful expression of music to delight the senses of retail audiences and support a custom-branded store experience.
"The white paper proposes some tools, techniques, and first-hand insights on how retail planners and merchandising experts can appeal to their target audiences through high-quality sound," said PlayNetworks chief operating officer, Robin Sibucao, a member of the forum panel.
PlayNetworks intent in publishing the white paper is that it will prompt dialogue and research amongst key stakeholders in the commercial music industry to determine new ways that quality sound systems can affect increased sales and employee productivity for a new level of retail merchandising.
Persons interested in the white paper can qualify to receive a copy by sending an e-mail request to marketing@playnetwork.com or by calling Ryan Risenmay, PlayNetwork Marketing, at 425-497-8100 x712.
