"ACOUSTIC LIVE" NOW ACCEPTING SUBMISSIONS
Acoustic Live an "Acoustic Battle of the Bands" (Los Angeles, CA) is now accepting submissions for artists to showcase for fans and industry while competing for great prizes.
Los Angeles, CA -- TLAMS Ent. -- June 26th, 2002 -- Acoustic Live, presented by the lamusicscene.com, is an "acoustic" battle of the bands- style competition. Acoustic Live's mission is to provide artists a forum to showcase their music in front of both industry professionals and music aficionados. Key sponsors include Larrivee guitars, 144 Recording Studios, Audix Microphones and the Canyon Club have made it possible to offer great prizes while keeping the showcase FREE to the public.
Showcasing 42 bands over an 8-week period, Acoustic Live is an ambitious production committed to presenting the highest quality music, while maintaining an artist friendly environment. Unlike many battle of the bands, Acoustic Live will be presented in a strictly acoustic format to best place emphasis on the music. Judging will be done by a panel of music industry professionals on categories such as songwriting, performance and originality.
Each week one artist will be selected by our panel to advance into the finals, to be held on week eight of the competition. Of the 42 competing artists, 7 will advance and "battle" for prizes donated by our sponsors.
Acoustic Live is now accepting submissions. Submissions are $10 dollars and will be accepted via acousticlive.net and Sonicbids (.com). Submissions can be all genres and need not be acoustic. Artists are encouraged to review official rules before submitting applications to Acoustic Live.
Acoustic Live would like to thank its sponsors, which include:
