Singer/songwriter Trish DeRousse releases debut single on Platinum Plus Records/Nashville to radio

Nashville's Platinum Plus Records is pleased to announce the debut release of country singer/songwriter, Trish DeRousse's, debut single to radio. The single, "You Wouldn't Lie To An Angel" was written by veteran hit writer Paul Overstreet. DeRousse's most unique and angelic voice soothes the country/bluegrass soul . . .

Nashville- Country singer/songwriter, Trish DeRousse has got a song in her heart, a dance in her step and a smile on her face. She's excited about her latest single record entitled, "You Wouldn't Lie To An Angel," that is shipping to radio stations this next week. The Carterville, Illinois resident is one of America's new country enthusiasts with deep roots in Gospel music and a vision for the future of the "new" contemporary country music.

Her latest single record was written by veteran hit writer, Paul Oversteet at Scarlet Moon Music in Nashville and the collboration between Overstreet and her producer, Robert Metzgar, has formed the basis of Trish's latest album, now out on Platinum Pus Records. The record label is one of Nashville's oldest and most prominent country labels. It's the home of MCA Universal's Smokey River Boys who have also just released a brand new album on Platinum Plus Universal.

Trish DeRousse finds herself in the company of the greatest session players in the world who played on the album. Some of Nashville's most famous names like Jerry Kroon (Modern Drummer MAgazine), Kari Marx, Brent Mason, Milton Sledge, Ralph Childs, Tony Miglioe, Bobby All and others who have played ont he albums of Alan JAckson, Garth Brooks, and Faith Hill. This is an album that's dedicated to the roots of country music that set the world aflame with the lyrics and performaces of the legendary cts from the Grand Ole Opry in Music City USA.

While working as a private duty nurse, she fell in love with country music and decided to audition for the AIRA's Producer of the Year, Robert Metzgar. He was so touched by the fact that Trish was the daugher of well known Gospel singer/songwriter, Mike Adkins, that he asked her to audition for him and the A & R staff of Capitol Management Group in Nashville.
