Vancouvers Norside Telecommunications Inc. provides solution in wake of TELUS and Bell wars.

The two phone giants, TELUS and Bell, have restricted the use of opposing calling cards in their respective territories.

Vancouver, July 3, 2002: Effective April 1, 2002 TELUS and Bell calling card users have be denied access in each competitors territory. The move has caused increased stress for the hospitality market in Canada as guests try to deal with recordings stating their calling card is not valid. Thankfully a solution has been in place since the summer of 2000 by Norside Telecommunications Inc. Norside's GuestCall program enables all hotel guests instant access to '0' type calls, no matter which region the call is originating from.

Norsides GuestCall program enhances basic telephone company operator services (calling card calls, collect, third-party etc.). With nearly 1300 billing arrangements and 250 properties online they have grown to become a leading provider in the Canadian hospitality market.
