LACP HAILS THE TOP 100 ANNUAL REPORTS OF 2001

SAN DIEGO -- July 5, 2002 -- League of American Communications Professionals (LACP), an organization dedicated to encouraging and recognizing excellence in the practice of communications, has released the results of its 2001 Annual Report Competition.

After several hundred hours of judging, LACPs panel established the Top 100 Annual Reports of 2001, along with the winners of several class-specific competitions. The Top 100 Annual Reports of 2001 were ranked as:

Judging was based upon a proprietary, 100-point scaling system that takes into account a number of factors in order to determine an annual reports score. In the event of ties, weighting was considered according to a predetermined selection of judging criteria in order to ascertain the Top 100 Annual Reports of 2001. In class-specific competitions, entries with equal scores were not subject to tie-breaking guidelines and remained on equal par. Entrants in class-specific competitions whose score did not rank them within the top four of the category were eligible for Honorable Mentions if a minimum score of 75 was garnered.
