LOS ANGELES, Calif. (PRWEB) July 11, 2002 - ClearPath Networks, developer of the industrys most compelling set of high-quality, affordable network-based Virtual Private Network (VPN) services, today announced the appointment of Damian Chmelar to the position of Vice President of Sales. In addition to spearheading ClearPaths existing acquisition program, Chmelar, an industry veteran with more than 14 years of technology sales experience, will direct ClearPaths sales operations from the companys New York offices.

At ClearPath, Chmelar will be responsible for managing overall sales operations as well as developing strategic partnerships. In addition, as part of ClearPaths senior management team, he will lead the companys aggressive acquisition program, which is designed to seek out VPN or network service providers looking for a viable exit strategy that maximizes the value of their assets.

Chmelars experience includes positions with both public and privately held technology companies. Most recently, Chmelar was Vice President of National Sales for Exario Networks, where he was instrumental in developing a national sales force responsible for selling managed VPN services to enterprise customers. Prior to Exario, Chmelar had a successful career at EurekaGGN, where he built a national sales force. Chmelar also served as a Global Sales Manager in AT&Ts Global Business Division.
