Actor turned golf pro turned insurance professional joins Dodge, Warren & Peters

Torrance, Calif...Don Gwizdalski, branch manager, Dodge Warren & Peters Torrance office, proudly announces the addition of Nick Donovan to the team. Donovan is a producer specializing in property and casualty and workers compensation for commercial accounts.

An entrepreneur since the age of 12, Donovan boasts an extensive 30-year sales background dotted with interesting side careers.

Donovan started his insurance career as a broker at Lloyds of London. But his dream at the time was to be an actor. He trained at the Royal Academy Of Dramatic Art in London and spent the following several years as a stage and television actor across the pond and briefly here in the United States. His next ambition, golf, was career stop number two. Donovan became a PGA club professional and worked in such high profile clubs as the Wilshire Country Club and San Gabriel Country Club. In 2000 he was named Assistant Golf Professional of the Year for the Metropolitan Section of the Southern California PGA.

After being fortunate enough to enjoy two careers that fulfilled him personally, Donovan realized it was time to go back to his first love -- sales -- and what better industry than the one he started out with.
