Federal Hispanic Law Enforcement Officers Association

YUMA, ARIZONA - the Federal Hispanic Law Enforcement Officers Association ("FHLEOA"), an employee association was recently approved for incorporation in the State of Arizona. FHLEOA's primary mission is to enhance the excellence and professionalism of the Federal Hispanic Law Enforcement workforce while assuring the fair and equitable delivery of services to the Federal Hispanic Law Enforcement community in civil rights and employment opportunities.

The name of the non-profit corporation is the Federal Hispanic Law Enforcement Officers Association (FHLEOA). The chairman and founder of FHLEOA, Mr. Miguel Angel Contreras believes that Hispanics employed by the Federal government have the same Constitutional Rights as other citizens of the United States and will work to protect those rights. The FHLEOA's Executive Board of Trustees and members believes that federal Hispanic law enforcement officers are professionals and will strive to upgrade standards, wages, benefits and working conditions to reflect this professional status. The FHLEOA will promote the interests of over 20,000 federal Hispanic law enforcement officers in the Executive, Legislative, and Judicial branches of the United States government. The ultimate goals and objectives of FHLEOA are to promote the federal government as a model employer while promoting federal law enforcement careers as model and noble professions; recruit qualified Hispanics to mid/senior and senior executive level (SES) positions within the federal law enforcement workforce; to be ever vigilant and pro-active in protecting the Civil Rights of federal Hispanic law enforcement officers; and to intensify the drive to recruit qualified Hispanics in the federal law enforcement profession. Membership benefits include but are not limited to professional development, networking, role model and mentorship opportunities in local communities, participate in the growth and development of one of the finest professional, greater career opportunities and contribution to the advancement and development of our Hispanics community.
