TWINKLECARDS UNVEILS A LINE OF SEMI-PRECIOUS" HANDMADE GREETING CARDS
Twinklecards is changing the art of cardgiving by offering a line of unique handmade cards made with genuine Swarovski crystals, firepolished imported glass beads, pearls and Japanese silk. Twinklecards are being touted by the company as the most expensive greeting card one will ever find.
New York, NY -- One company is about to bring new meaning to Hallmarks famed advertising tagline, When you care enough to send the very best." Twinklecards is a new greeting card company specializing in high end handcrafted cards made with materials like Swarovski Austrian crystals and imported glass beads.
Priced between $7-$20 per card, the company says these cards are intended for special occasions. Anne Byun, Designer/Founder of Twinklecards explains, This isnt your everyday greeting card. Theyre unique because of the materials that are used and the careful handwork that goes into each card. There are no other cards like Twinklecards." According to the company, many customers even purchase the cards as gifts or frame them.
The new line of cards consist of 30 designs, almost all of which have a floral theme. Flowers are a universal symbol for love, compassion, gratitude, and friendship. Theyre given on special occasions and I want people to do the same with my cards", says Anne Byun.
The idea of starting the company came when Anne Byun visited a nearby card store and realized that there were thousands of handmade card designs that all looked similar. She says, I wanted to create a rare and special card that would stand apart from every other handmade card out there. No other company is willing to apply expensive crystals on greeting cards. So I am."
And so far, the company says the response has been great. They are quickly gaining popularity among major retailers including Barneys New York and Takashimaya, who have already expressed interest in placing orders.
Twinklecards are available at selected retailers. They can also be purchased through their website, twinklecards.com.
