UPS Acquisition of Fritz Companies Inc benefits Florida company
Clearwater, FL/July 15, 2002: UPS Freight Services (formerly Fritz companies, Inc) has appointed Clearwater based Applied Media Technologies Corporation (AMTC) to produce an updated 'on-hold message CD informing customers of the name change
For the last 6 years, Clearwater based AMTC has been the official vendor of 'on-hold messaging solutions to the Fritz companies throughout the US. Shortly after the announcement of the acquisition by UPS, AMTC was asked to produce the update as soon as possible". Rising to the challenge. AMTC turned the production around in just 24 hours, utilizing its state of the art recording and production studios.
Theres been a pretty constant stream of calls from the former Fritz companies, once they heard that the updated message content was available," said Mike Pandolfo, AMTCS Director of Production. They were very grateful that we had managed to produce the new CD so quickly."
AMTC pioneered the use of both CDs and removable memory sticks in 'on-hold player equipment.
