The relationship between this physician and this patient would not be disrupted by time zones and distance. Complete Care Center surveyed their patients and their community prior to investing in the design of an Internet communication tool. They found out that security was the primary concern. Dr. Bouvier and his partner Dr. Roland Tindle invited technical partners, Todd Smith and Candice Farrell of The Local Internet to work with them in creating SafeTe-Mail.

SafeTe-Mail sends notification to Complete Care Center when their patient records a question or request inside a secure individual online site 24 hours a day locally and nationally. Only the patient and the doctor have full security rights and privileges. Nursing staff, lab staff, and administrative personnel have partial security rights and privileges to requests and records they should service; thereby creating a workflow that saves everyone time. Since issues and requests are not handled within insecure email, SafeTe-Mail is more protective of a patient's privacy than voicemail or regular mail. Patients also have medical records available anytime and anywhere they have access to the Internet making trips out of town less risky should an unexpected medical emergency arise.

As a specialist in Internal Medicine, Robert Bouvier, M.D. has the professional skills and expertise needed to treat patients of all ages. Dr. Bouvier takes a wellness and preventive approach to health care and values a long and trusting relationship with each patient. Dr. Tindle received his medical degree in Kansas City, Missouri, internship and residency in internal medicine in Detroit. He was with Henry Ford Hospital Emergency Department in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan for 12 years. Dr. Tindle adds to the medical center's expertise over and above the traditional primary care office.
