NEW MUSIC BRINGS LAPLAND INDEPENDENCE TO THE FOREFRONT
Limited edition 'Free Lapland CD by the band Crapp released with proceeds of sales going to the Free Lapland Party
(New York -- July 25, 2002) Gamli Gardur Records is releasing Free Lapland to support the Free Lapland Party. The band Crapp produced and recorded four new tracks for the cause. The songs range from the hard-hitting, industrialist 'Cigarette Girl to the British pop styling of 'Nili Tealeaf. Both the record company and the Free Lapland Party hope to raise the general publics awareness of the Lapland situation through the promotional material included in within each CD.
Gamli Gardur plans to serve the North American market with its partner mp3.com (www.mp3.com/crapp) and the British market through Peoplesound (www.peoplesound.com) with this limited release. MP3 format samples are available through both sites. Partners for continental Europe and Asia will be announced next month.
Well known to his fans across Europe and America, Crapp has been called 'Brilliant! by Heida of UnUn fame and musical genius" by German rocker Christoph Rech.
