Cinderella petition goes online

The 'Cinderella petition', hosted free by PetitionOnline, is now live on the 'net and has already 'netted' 100 signatures. Fans from all over the world can now visit and show support for the remastering and publication of the 1957 broadcast of the movie Cinderella starring Julie Andrews.

Now live on the net is the "Remaster and Publish Cinderella (1957)" petition (http://www.PetitionOnline.com/cindrh57/petition.html), a petition site devoted specifically to the Rodgers and Hammerstein movie "Cinderella" starring Julie Andrews.

The web site provides a petition (to CBS/Viacom Inc.) to collect signatures from everyone who supports the idea of remastering and publishing the black and white videotape of the movie Cinderella starring Julie Andrews that was broadcast live in the United States on March 31st, 1957 but never published.

Launched a month ago, the "Cinderella petition" is already receiving hits from fans all over the world, who have always wanted to own a copy of the beloved movie/musical. You can visit the site, "Remaster and Publish Cinderella (1957)" right now. The author invites all interested persons, either fans of Julie Andrews or of Rodgers and Hammerstein, movies and musicals to come and support the cause by adding their signature.

Signatures collected by October 1st, 2002 (the birthday of Julie Andrews) will be sent to CBS/Viacom Inc.
