TetraData announces EASE-e Data Analyzer 4.0

TetraData Corporation, a U.S.-based software company specializing in school improvement products and services for the education marketplace, announces the release of EASE-e Data Analyzer (EDA) 4.0.

Greenville, July 2, 2002: TetraData Corporation, a U.S.-based software company specializing in school improvement products and services for the education marketplace, announces the release of EASE-e Data Analyzer (EDA) 4.0.

Version 4.0, which makes a logical step in the evolution of TetraDatas popular measurement and assessment tool, offers significant ease-of-use features and improvements to school staff and administrators. Users who are already familiar with EDA will have no difficulty making productive use of these new features. In addition, this new version of EDA offers several features designed to help school districts exceed requirements of the No Child Left Behind Act of 2001, which was signed into law by President George W. Bush in January.

-- Calculation Wizard: Version 4.0 provides administrators with a powerful new tool for achieving, and even surpassing, Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP) requirements. The Calculation Wizard allows users to perform a query, obtain results, and do calculations on the spot to see where improvement is needed or where goals are already being met. Users can also perform calculations on past data to see where problem spots or improvements may have existed before the current batch of figures. Achieving AYP has never been easier.

-- New Customized Reports: In addition to adding over 30 more standard reports, Version 4.0 allows users to modify or create customized reports and distribute them to anyone over the Internet. EDA offers unprecedented control over layout, content, and distribution, ensuring that data is effectively presented and spread throughout the state, regional, district, or school system. EDA 4.0 lets districts proactively report progress to stakeholders, the media, and reporting agencies.

-- New browser-based version of the Data Analyzer is included: Version 4.0 provides a browser-based interface (EDA Web) to overcome potential platform issues in districts that use diverse legacy systems. EDA Web makes the most of the Internet while retaining much of EDAs familiar and intuitive interface. Users will enjoy the added ease of use that comes from being able to use any computer, anywhere, at any time. In this mode, the EDA Server greets the user with a common login screen that allows them to access any of the EASE-e products to which they normally have access.

-- New Search and Find features: Version 4.0 enhances the ability of educators to search through their data (for specific students, teachers, classes, or any other data object they have established in their data warehouse) and create virtual groupings for performing analyses.

The No Child Left Behind Act of 2001 makes it more crucial than ever for administrators to maintain a firm grasp on their data. EASE-e Data Analyzer 4.0 brings together all the information needed for Adequate Yearly Progress Reports, and it comprehensively monitors progress towards NCLB accountability. Understanding educational data has never been so important, and theres never been a tool as well-suited for the task as EASE Data Analyzer 4.0.

EASE-e Data Analyzer 4.0 offers administrators the most power and control yet over their districts data, all in an easy-to-use, intuitive package. By making sense of the factors that affect instruction and student progress, the Data Analyzer puts sophisticated, easy-to-use data analysis in the hands of every staff member and every teacher.
