Vancouver, BC, July 24, 2002--Carlin Gold Corporation (TSX Venture Exchange -- CGD) is pleased to announce that its Annual General Meeting was held today. The Board of Directors for the upcoming year consists of Chris Samis, Dmitri W. Tymkiw, Peeyush K. Varshney and Nadir Walji.
The Board of Directors has appointed Peeyush K. Varshney as the Companys President and Nilda Rivera as the Companys Corporate Secretary.
