New National One Heart for Kids Volunteer and Fundraising Campaign Announced to Benefit Grass-Roots Youth Groups Throughout the U.S.

Streetcats Foundation for Youth and National Childrens Coalition have announced a new national One Heart for Kids campaign to benefit under-funded grassroots youth groups 'in the trenches' helping youth.

San Francisco-based Streetcats Foundation for Youth and the National Childrens Coalition have
announced a new, ongoing national campaign,
One Heart for Kids, to benefit under-funded
grassroots youth groups throughout the U.S. (both secular and faith-based) that are in the trenches
significantly helping children and teenagers, but
are always at the mercy of foundations to continue their good works.

The One Heart for Kids campaign will include a national web site, oneheartforkids.com, listing
noteworthy non-profit youth organizations that urgently need donor support and more volunteers.

A national radio public service announcement campaign will run throughout the year, garnering
donations and volunteer support for local community groups throughout the country, with
a national broadcast and a 'One Heart for Kids Week' focusing attention the week before Valentine's Day every year.

One Heart for Kids seeks people and organizations to start local chapters in 50 cities its first year.

Streetcats Foundation for Youth and National Childrens Coalition operate the 8-year-old Youth and Children Net web site (www.child.net), one of the largest non-profit youth and family resource sites on the internet, Teen-Anon national 12-step fellowship for addicted teenagers, the Kidsurfer computer project, Young & Recovering college campus 12-step groups for the recovery of students addicted to alcohol and other drugs
and through their StreetKids programs, train others to work with street kids and runaways on city streets from New York to Los Angeles.
