In Quest For Growth, New International Chamber Selects The Write Exposure For Newsletter Design
The Write Exposure delivered the design the IVWCC was looking for for their new member publication.
The International Virtual Womens Chamber of Commerce (PRWEB) July 26, 2002 -only newsletter.
I want[ed] the newsletter to have an affluent feminine look," Jerrilynn Thomas, founder and president of the IVWCC says, adding, I want[ed] our content to rival Inc. magazine...but have it focus[ed] on women."
Because the IVWCC brings together women around the world interested in exploring the realm of global business, the newsletter had to appeal to a large demographic. Culturally speaking, the newsletter design was complicated. When youre designing for a global community, you have to keep in mind multiple cultural differences including perceptions of color and space," says Jessica Albon, a principal of The Write Exposure.
Of course, the challenge was what made the newsletter so exciting to design," Albon says. And, based on initial reviews of the website, The Write Exposure succeeded in meeting the challenge. Thomas called the newsletter a work of art," with other chamber members echoing the sentiment.
In addition to the global nature of the design, Albon says the newsletter was especially enjoyable because the organization is still new. Working with an organization thats still establishing itself is always exciting. Plus, the mission of the IVWCC to unite female business owners all around the world is so admirable. Were proud to have been a part of the organization from so early on."
