Ranch Rescue concludes Operation Condor and Operation Owl

Ranch Rescue has just completed TWO field missions: Operation Owl and Operation Condor, which took place in Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, and California.

Joint Press Release by Ranch Rescue California and Ranch Rescue Texas

Ranch Rescue has just completed TWO missions: Operation Owl and Operation Condor!

Operation Owl was a 10-day fact-finding mission for Ranch Rescue Texas, conducted from 13-21 July 2002, during which the Ranch Rescue Texas team traveled from Texas to New Mexico, Arizona, and California. Ranch Rescue Texas obtained video interviews with many of the landowners who have been dealing with the border crime wave and the research team conducted extensive reconnaissance of those properties that are experiencing cross-border incursions by armed drug smugglers and the mexican military. The information gathered will be used to plan future Ranch Rescue efforts in all four states.

Operation Condor was a 3-day Ranch Rescue California mission, conducted from 19-21 July 2002, on the private ranch of Bob Maupin in eastern San Diego County. Operation Owl team members (see above) linked up with Operation Condor to conduct a joint Texas-California rescue effort. Ranch Rescue volunteers conducted security patrols alongside Mr Maupin's own security volunteers, successfully deterring cross-border criminal activity. Both foot patrols and mounted patrols were conducted, using Mr Maupin's fully restored WW2 armored half-track. Ranch Rescue also provided volunteers for fence repair on Mr Maupin's private property.

Details of both missions can be found on the Ranch Rescue website: http://www.ranchrescue.com .

Ranch Rescue is grassroots volunteer network dedicated to protecting and defending private property rights for all Americans, regardless of race, color, creed, or religion. Ranch Rescue has chapters in six states and is growing nationally.
