Terrorist Website Shutdown

Dayton, Ohio; July 31, 2002 - Trident Networks, Inc., a leading provider of data management solutions and business web hosting services, today announced that it had been unknowingly hosting the Alneda.com al-Qaeda terrorist website under the name news4arab.org.
The site was setup approximately three weeks ago using a prepaid credit card from Saudi Arabia" said William O'Neill, President and CEO. We first became aware that it was part of the terrorist network after a news story was run by CNN showing the websites address." The FBI was immediately notified and for the past week Trident has been working with the FBI to gather data on the possible terrorists. After consultation with the FBI it was decided to remove the website from Tridents servers Tuesday evening.
