BZA has recently completed the design, implementation and launch of Emergency Advertisings new web site, which is located at www.emergencyads.com. Emergency Advertising is a New York based advertising agency that uses fully restored classic ambulances from the 1950's, like the one seen in the movie Ghostbusters, to advertise company's messages throughout the tri-state New York area. The web sites animated Flash introduction works as an immediate attention-grabber showing the excitement and unique flair of Emergency Advertising. There is also a page where visitors can view photographs of the Emergency Advertising fleet. Each of these unique cars has taken two years to restore. In the restoration section viewers can see for themselves photographs of the long and tedious restoration process. Owner Sandy Grossman states, As for our wonders, each one has been done with meticulous care and attention to even the tiniest detail. Every nut and bolt and thingamajig has been replaced with new parts and state-of-the-art electronics."
We were all very excited to work on the launch of Emergency Advertising." Stated Barbara Zaccone, BZA President. We were involved from the very start, watching the business evolve as the ambulances were restored. We worked closely with Sandy to come up with a company logo as well as the web site's look and feel. This was truly a joint effort between the client and our design team."
Along with the web site, Emergency Advertising's prototype 1959 Cadillac ambulance recently made its debut in the NYC Flag Day Salute to 911 Heroes Parade. Stunned and admiring onlookers couldn't help but smile (and cheer!) at the work of art-on-wheels. Each Rolling Billboard is equipped with five billboards, a computerized Message Center,BOSE® Sound System and enough lights and sirens to awaken a big city. "The Rolling Billboards are simply impossible to ignore," said Grossman, of the twelve foot high, twenty-one foot long, four-ton ambulances. "And, besides," he says, "we can go anywhere the client wants us to go in the tri-state New York area. Broadway by day? The Garden at night? Uptown Saturday night? The Javits Center? I think people will definitely remember the advertisements once they see them on our cars."
The Rolling Billboards can be used to announce a new product or service, movie/television and entertainment promotions, corporate happenings, political events, personal advertisements, and much more.
