BITTIME LAUNCHES SAVE AND WIN" PROMOTION TO ENTICE FEDEX MEXICO CLIENTS TO SHIP PACKAGES ONLINE

Miami, FL (PRWEB) August 7, 2002 -- BitTime, the relationship marketing company that combines creativity with innovative technology to develop and manage results-oriented promotions, incentive and loyalty programs for consumers, sales channels and employees, has launched another promotion for FedEx, the premier global provider of transportation, logistics, e-commerce and supply chain management services.

The FedEx promotion named 'Save and Win with fedex.com has been launched in Mexico in an effort to attract and gain new clients, and also to convert existing clients to use the FedEx Ship Manager online shipping tool, located in the fedex.com web site. The FedEx Ship Manager tool allows companies to prepare and process shipments via the Internet, simplifying and automating the entire process, as well as saving time and effort. The promotion is scheduled to run from June 1st to August 31st, 2002.

Companies must first open a FedEx account and register online to participate. Through an online interface FedEx employees are able to review the eligibility of each company and approve or reject their participation. Once approved, participating companies receive a 15% discount on all packages sent using FedEx Ship Manager at fedex.com during the following three months, while individuals receive a MXP $150 Ticketmaster certificate for making three shipments using FedEx Ship Manager at fedex.com. Clearly, one of the key benefits of this promotion is that it rewards the companies and their employees alike, for using the FedEx Ship Manager tool. The promotion is being advertised through direct mailings, e-mail campaigns and online banners in fedex.com and AOL.

FedEx has come to us with a desire to change a behaviour among their Mexican clients," said BitTime President and Founder, Alberto Gross. I am confident
that we can help FedEx achieve its goal. By providing different incentives to companies and individuals alike, we strongly motivate all involved to change the way they send packages. BitTimes proven experience in successfully managing online promotions made us the perfect partner for this FedEx initiative, which is already showing strong results."
