The Glimpse Flash Movie, designed to illustrate both the spirit behind the Glimpse Foundation and the value of its content, is linked off of the Glimpse Website (www.theglimpse.com) and can also be directly viewed at the following URL: http://www.theglimpse.com/flash/index2.htm
Glimpse primarily intends to use its Flash Movie as a promotional tool to pitch the value and quality of Glimpse content to editors and publishers the world over in order to interest them in republishing Glimpse content in their newspaper or magazine or travel brochure.
The project was conceptualized entirely by Glimpse staff and was created with the generous and friendly support of a small company of Brown University students past and present. The design firm, a start-up called Pseudo7, used innovative techniques to incorporate animate a highly-stylized DV figure within a world comprised of photo-imagery.
Glimpse Magazine is published by the Glimpse Foundation, a non-profit organization founded by a group of Brown University students with the aim of promoting cross-cultural dialogue and understanding and the experiences that lead to it. Beyond the Glimpse Magazine, the foundation pursues four additional programs: Glimpse Conference Series, TheGlimpse.com, Glimpse Scholar Abroad, and the Glimpse Course Initiative.
