While America continues to mourn the civilian lives lost during the terrorist attacks of the WTC and the Pentagon, August 6th 1945 is etched in history as a heroic date by many Americans commemorating the necessary" killing of over 300,000 civilians - 100 times more than on Sept. 11th. The US Government justifies its decision 56 years ago by pointing out that ordering the mass killing of thousands of Japanese civilians, mostly women and children, was a blissful humanitarian effort to save future lives", because it forced the Japanese to finally surrender. This is precisely the definition of terrorism: using fear (mass deadly force in this case) to intimidate or influence.
The Raelian movement is actively looking into an international legal action to sue the US Government for crimes against humanity".
Also proposed to the UN is a new world calendar using the unforgettable tragic date of August 6th 1945 as day one of a new era for humanity. This calendar would no longer be based on the Christian tradition currently representing less than 15% of the worlds population, which is disrespectful to all the peoples of other faiths. The new calendar would be based on the Hiroshima massacre which mankind must always remember if it is to build a peaceful lasting future starting today, the first day of year 57 AH (After Hiroshima).
